This whole website started out as a gallery page of my own personal beer and distillery neon signs in my collection. Then my collection expanded and the signs became more diverse in the advertizement. As I have sold signs over the years, I have left the information pertaining to it on the pages throughtout this site. I like to leave the neon sign reference information available for others. You can bookmark this page for reference information on older neon beer signs. Beer neons still in my personal collection have click-able thumbnails and list the sign's condition. I try and list as much information about the signs as I know. Maybe I can be a help to you determining what you already have. Or maybe you'll discover something new you did not know. Then again, maybe you will find there is something you need in your collection!

Busch beer neon sign

Busch Beer with Mountains

  • Model #: Not marked.
  • Production date: 09/1980.
  • Condition: Very good. Used and dusty.
  • Colors: 3 colors total. The word 'Busch' glows in a mellow light blue. The mountain outline lights in a soft white. The line underscore illuminates in pure brilliant neon orange.
  • Block-out paint: Gray. There is some slight cracking.
  • Length overall: 32.75 inches.
  • Height overall: 16.5 inches.
  • Repairs: None.
  • Transformer: Franceformer 6030 FM 5  Secondary Mid-Point Grounded.
  • Transformer Input: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 180 Volt-Amps.
  • Transformer output: 6,000 volts, 30 Milli-Amps.
  • Comments: This sign works great. The 'H' is a little dim near the very end. If this sign is left on for over 5 to 6 hours, the transformer will start to hum. This sign is all original and working so I do not feel the need to replace the transformer.
Lite seafood display

Miller Lite Beer Seafood Display

  • Model #: OAB560.
  • Production date: September 1994.
  • Condition: Excellent. Used and very clean.
  • Colors: 4 colors total. The word 'LITE' glows in a brilliant light blue. The fish outline lights in a mellow pink. There are nice green accents above and below the fish outline. Finally, soft white illuminated semi-circles are on the top and bottom. I think that is to represent the fish is laying on a plate.
  • Block-out paint: Black, nice and solid, however there is some slight cracking on the green accent tube.
  • Length overall: 30 inches.
  • Height overall: 22 inches.
  • Repairs: None.
  • Transformer: France 7530 W 7 Secondary Mid-Point Grounded.
  • Transformer Input: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 225 Volt-Amps.
  • Transformer output: 7,500 volts, 30 Milli-Amps.
  • Comments: This sign is a very rare one. I bought this sign still new in the box in 1999. It was 5 years old at that time, and never before displayed. I displayed it for 3 years in my fish room. Of that 3 years time, I think it has a whole 4 or 5 days' worth of actual 'On - Time'. I never even unloosened the cord from the factory style of wrapping because the outlet was right at the sign's hanging spot. About two years ago I took the sign down when fish tank arrangements needed it's space. I put this sign back into it's original carton and stored it in my neon attic undisplayed. This sign is completely original including carton, complete with the hanging materials. If you own a restaurant or bar that serves Miller Lite beer and fish dinners, here's your ideal sign to bring in more business!

  • Length overall: 21.75 inches.
  • Height overall: 17 inches.

Bud Dry Barbacker neon sign

Bud Dry Bar Backer

  • Model #: Not marked.

  • Transformer Input: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 225 Volt-Amps
  • Transformer output: 7,500 volts, 30 Milli-Amps
  • Comments: This neon is meant for a shelf or to be mounted on a wall. It is NOT designed to hang in a window as most neons are. Don't be fooled by it's appearance. On this sign all illumination is from neon tubing. The plastic covers protect the tubes. Kind of like a channel neon sign you see over a storefront.
Red Wolf neon sign

Red Wolf - SOLD

  • Model #: 770-110
  • Produced in 1994 through 1995.

  • Comments: This sign is rare, scarce might be a better word. The wolf's eyes slowly fade in and out slowly to give the impression the wolf is staring at you. Very cool effect. This sign is also dimmable and wall mounts easily. Stunning in operation!
Molson maple leaf neon sign

Molson Maple Leaf

  • Manufacturer: Universal Electric Sign Company
  • Condition: Works well. Used decent condition.
  • Colors: 2 colors total. The word 'Molson' glows in a wonderful medium blue. The leaf glows in a soft yellowish-gold.

  • Transformer Input: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 180 Volt-Amps
  • Transformer output: 6,000 Volts, 30 Milli-Amps
  • Comments: This neon has a very stunning appearance when lit due to the choice of colors used. I bought this neon sign from one of my old watering holes when it closed. I had always admired it, and when the opportunity arose to purchase it I did along with 3 others. The bar owner sprayed some flat primer over the tubes to tone down the intensity of this sign. I have not tried to change that.
  • Note: I sold a neon just like this new in the original carton for $160.00 on eBayŽ!

  • Comments: These signs were so common when I was a kid. Seemed like these blinking Miller neons were everywhere. I had to have one in my collection. I found several, all in varied states of broken parts. This particular one suffered a broken border tube. Now that I replaced that tube with a good one, this old sign flashes it's message again just as it did in 1974. Another classic neon beauty, even with the peeling block-out paint. I think the peeling paint gives this neon sign character!

6 color Corona Beer neon sign

  • Condition: New in box.
  • Colors: 6 colors total. The word Corona glows in a deep rich blue. There is a teal, a yellow and a red fish amongst light blue waves of water. The is a palm with red trunk and green looping leaves. A golden sun brightens the upper corner.

  • Transformer Input: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, .7 Amp.
  • Transformer output: 6,000 Volts, 30 Milli-Amps.
  • Comments: Nice sign! But not the nicest job on the blackout paint. Doesn't matter when lit up. Takes good 45 minutes for this neon sign to warm up to full brightness. That's not a problem, it's common on multi-colored signs. I really like the two different shades of blue. The teal and green are nice offsetting shades too. As I am listing this neon sign onto this website, I have a local offer of $200.00 for it.
